Short stays in Ireland and United Kingdom
At Carlos V we offer exciting school travel programs that provide students with an unforgettable experience while improving their English language skills. These stays take place during 1 or 2 weeks from September to June and take place in fascinating destinations such as Manchester, London and Dublin.
In our ongoing commitment to provide enriching educational opportunities, these trips are designed to immerse students in a fully immersive environment where they can practice English 24 hours a day, offering a perfect combination of learning and fun.
Students will have the option of staying with host families or in residences. Part of the day will be dedicated to English classes taught by highly qualified teachers and committed to the academic progress of each student.

In addition, the afternoons will be filled with exciting activities for students to meet, explore and and immerse themselves in local into the daily life of the place. This unique combination of formal and informal learning not only reinforces language proficiency, but also enriches the cultural experience of the participants. Participants will not only expand their language skills but also develop intercultural skills and establish lasting friendships.

Course information
With its unique blend of history, traditions and hospitality, Dublin invites you to immerse yourself in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Walk through Temple Bar, visit its ancient libraries and castles and perfect your English skills while immersing yourself in Irish culture.
The school where the classes are held is located in a privileged residential area, within short distance from the center of Dublin and with a direct streetcar route to the student residence.
Accommodation
The accommodation is organized in a residence with 300 places available. Its location, within only 15 minutes from the center of Dublin by public transport, makes it perfect to enjoy a quiet stay, surrounded by large green areas in an academic environment.

With exceptional transport links both in and out of the city, Manchester offers a wide range of activities to suit all tastes. As home to two of the Premier League’s great clubs, City and United, it attracts fans from all over the world. Immerse yourself in the friendliness of the local people, explore its innovative museums, enjoy live music and take the opportunity to practice English in a unique environment.
Our program takes place at the Manchester Metropolitan University, a modern university located in the heart of the city and and one of the largest educational centers in Europe.
Accommodation
In this program, students can choose between accommodation with a host family or in the residence campus on a full board basis. The host families are located near or very well connected to the study center.
In case you prefer a accommodation in a university residence you will stay at the residence of Archway. It is a new complex built in 2021 in the heart of the university campus where our students will share the facilities with students from all countries.

London, the capital of England, is one of the most famous and multicultural cities and one of the great touristic destinations in the world. It is a diverse, cosmopolitan and dazzling . With its mix of history, culture, fashion and diversity, London offers an incomparable backdrop to improve your English skills. From the iconic Big Ben to the bohemian markets of Camden, every corner of this city offers you an opportunity to learn and grow.
English classes are taught in the early mornings, until completing a course of 15 hours per week, leaving the afternoons to get to know the city and and enjoy a full cultural program and of leisure activities.
Accommodation
The Accommodation is hosted at the university residence of Parry Hall only 10 minutes walk away from the center of London and its main attractions.
