María Ferrer

Graduated in Translation and Interpreting (English and German), she has a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) and academic and work experience in Germany, Spain and South Africa. She is the academic coordinator of the center, responsible for the organization of the different courses of the school and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Guillermo Piñuela

Guillermo has explored multiple disciplines in Educational and Cultural Programs, from teaching Spanish, English, painting and illustration, to all kinds of sports. Graduated as an Early Childhood and Primary Education Teacher, he has a Master’s Degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language. He has coordinated summer and educational programs and has worked as a Spanish teacher, always focused on inclusive education, as he also has specific training in Visual Impairment and Braille.

Ana María Beltrán

Ana María Beltrán

Graduated in Romance Languages, Literatures and Cultures with a Master’s Degree in ELE Teaching, she has been a Spanish Language Reader in Algeria for two years and a conversation assistant at the Lycéle Antoine Watteau. Her passion for teaching Spanish provides her students with an immersive and enriching experience to understand and live the language.

Javier González

Graduated in International Business and specialized in teaching English, he has developed his career both in the United Kingdom and Spain. At Carlos V Education he is in charge of the local management of the groups, a task he performs in an exemplary manner. He loves to learn about the history and culture of each place he visits, whether for work or leisure.

Sara Chafai

Academic Management and Spanish Teacher

Sara Chafai

Teacher with over eight years of experience, graduated in French Philology and holding a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has various training in the educational field, including teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at the European University Miguel de Cervantes. In addition to managing the academic area, she coordinates our long-term programs.

Idiomas Carlos V Madrid has been accredited by Instituto Cervantes, which means it meets the conditions set by the Instituto Cervantes Accreditation System for Centres, the only international accreditation exclusively focused on the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.

Visit to the Prado Museum

You will visit the Prado Museum, one of the most important museums in the world, as well as one of the most visited. Velázquez, El Greco, Goya, Tiziano, Rubens or Hieronymus Bosch are some of the artists most represented in this monumental art gallery. Besides, artists like Murillo, Ribera or Zurbarán also have an important presence.

Like other great European museums, the Prado owes its origin to the collecting hobby of the reigning dynasties over several centuries.

Debod Temple + West Park Tour

There will be a tour through the picturesque Parque del Oeste, an extensive area of gardens located in the center of Madrid, until you reach the historic Temple of Debod. This temple was a gifted by Egypt to Spain in 1968 in gratitude for the Spanish help provided in response to UNESCO’s international call to preserve the temples of Nubia, especially Abu Simbel, threatened with disappearance.
