With our Educational Internship Program in Spain, you can live a unique experience in cities such as Seville, Malaga or Madrid, specially designed for English teachers. These internships connect academic theory with its application in the classroom, offering you the opportunity to perfect your teaching methodologies, acquire new pedagogical strategies and expand your professional network in the education sector. In addition, working and training in an international environment will allow you to enjoy an enriching cultural immersion, making this experience an essential step in your professional growth and the improvement of your teaching skills.
At Carlos V, students have the opportunity to gain short-term work experience through our supervised internship program in specific areas, designed to provide hands-on experience in the world of work. These programs combine education and professional development, guiding participants towards a future career in a specific organization, field or sector. During the internship, students will be fully integrated into the organization, gaining valuable insight into the professional environment.
In addition to the work experience, students will return home with increased cultural awareness and a better command of Spanish. Throughout their stay, they will participate in cultural programs and workshops that will enrich their immersion in Spanish daily life. They will also have the opportunity to perfect their language skills by attending Spanish classes certified by the Instituto Cervantes, which will complement their experience with a solid academic background.
In addition to internships, Carlos V offers a Job Shadowing program, which allows students to observe professionals in their field of interest. This program offers detailed insight into the day-to-day responsibilities and challenges of specific careers. By shadowing experienced professionals, students can:

Our internships offer students interested in teaching the opportunity to work with teenagers who are learning English.
Our programs, which range from two to six weeks between June and August, give prospective teachers the opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience as well as improve their Spanish while immersing themselves in Spanish culture.
Classes last three hours a day, and students will also have the opportunity to accompany their students on cultural visits, workshops and excursions.
Prospective teachers will work hand in hand with our team and will have full access to carefully designed materials, audiovisual equipment and lesson plans. In addition, they will be encouraged to bring their own talents and ideas to the classroom.
The ideal candidate has an interest in both immersion in new cultures and practical language acquisition.
